AeroWindow is a product of Retra LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the AeroWindow application and website.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

AeroWindow is designed with privacy in mind. The app does not require user registration or login, does not collect personal data, and does not share any information with third parties.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

AeroWindow collects anonymous, aggregated usage data to help us understand which content is popular and improve the viewing experience. This includes:

  • Which channels and routes are viewed
  • Which routes are saved as favorites
  • Settings preferences (zoom level, sound level)
  • Device type (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, Apple Vision Pro) and subscription tier
  • Session duration

This data is:

  • Identified only by a random session ID that is discarded when you close the app
  • Not linked to your Apple ID or any personal identifier
  • Not used for advertising or sold to third parties
  • Processed by Cloudflare Workers and stored in Cloudflare R2

No cookies, device fingerprints, or cross-app tracking are used.

Website Analytics

Our website (aerowindow.tv) uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Umami collects anonymous, aggregated data such as page views, referrer URLs, browser type, and country. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track users across websites. All data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual visitors.

Map Data

AeroWindow displays satellite imagery provided by Apple MapKit. When using the app, your device requests map tiles directly from Apple's servers. These requests are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or store any data from these map tile requests.

In-App Purchases

AeroWindow offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional channels and features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. For details about how Apple handles purchases, see Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Anonymous usage analytics are retained for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted. Since no personal information is collected, there is no personal data to retain.

Your Rights

Because AeroWindow does not collect, store, or process any personal information, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. This applies regardless of your location, including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and similar privacy laws. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.

Children's Privacy

AeroWindow does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Attribution & Content

Map Imagery: Satellite imagery is provided by Apple MapKit and is subject to Apple's terms of use. Apple Maps attribution is displayed within the app.

Narration Content: All narration text, feature descriptions, and editorial content in AeroWindow are original works created by Retra LLC. All rights reserved. This content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without permission.

Audio: Cabin ambient audio is original content created by Retra LLC.
